Armor A60 2TB Rugged Portable Drive
The Silicon Power Armor A60 provides 2TB of external storage inside a rubberised enclosure built for rough handling. It targets field workers, photographers and commuters who need a drive that survives drops, dust and splashing water without a protective case.
MIL-STD-810G and IPX4 sustained protection
The drive has passed the US Military MIL-STD-810G transit drop test and meets IPX4 water-resistance, so repeated knocks and rain exposure are absorbed by the internal suspension system rather than the mechanism. Thermal throttling is not a factor because the mechanical drive runs at standard spindle speeds within the insulated casing.
Upgrade from bare 2.5-inch drives
Replacing a naked laptop drive or a slim unrated portable eliminates the need for a separate rugged sleeve and reduces the chance of catastrophic failure after a fall. The jump is worth it when data loss from a single impact would cost more than the price difference.

Klausimai apie šią prekę
Does the Armor A60 get hot or noisy when it runs all day?
The drive has no fan and uses a mechanical hard disk inside a rubber casing, so it stays silent and only warms slightly during continuous use.
What do I need to already own for this 2 TB drive to work?
A device with a USB 3.0 or USB 3.2 port and a standard USB-A cable, which is included with the drive.
Will the USB 3.0 Armor A60 work properly with my older USB 2.0 laptop?
Yes, the USB 3.0 interface is backward compatible with USB 2.0 ports, though transfer speeds will be limited to USB 2.0 rates.
