All-in-one multimedia duplicator

The Acumen Disc AD10-MMBD copies data from USB flash drives, CompactFlash cards, Secure Digital cards, Memory Stick media or optical discs to up to ten blank discs simultaneously. It operates completely standalone with no computer or software required, using a 20 x 2 LCD and a controller that supports English, Spanish, French and Japanese menus. The unit reads from one source drive and writes to ten destination burners in a single operation.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

The duplicator runs as a self-contained tower with internal cooling for the eleven optical drives. Typical operation produces only the sound of drive motors and cooling fans at a level comparable to a standard desktop PC. Power draw scales with the number of active writers, peaking when all ten burners record Blu-ray media at 16X speed.

Build integration and workflow

The machine accepts flash media directly through front-panel slots and a USB port, eliminating the need for a host PC or card readers. Disc spanning automatically splits large flash-media archives across multiple discs, while multi-session technology combines several smaller cards onto one disc. It does not copy from disc back to flash media, so users needing that direction must choose a different model.
