The Dell PowerEdge R440 is a 1U rack server built for dense data-centre deployment. Two Intel Xeon Gold 6130 processors run at 2.1GHz with 16 cores each and reach 3.7GHz turbo frequency. 256GB of DDR4-2666 ECC registered memory is installed across eight 32GB modules. The system targets virtualization, cloud and storage workloads where rack space is limited.

4-Bay 3.5" Storage With HBA330

Four 3.5-inch drive bays accept SAS or SATA drives through the PERC HBA330 12Gb/s controller. The bays ship with drive fillers installed; drives must be added separately. Capacity scales with the drives chosen, while the HBA330 handles 12Gb/s SAS and 6Gb/s SATA bandwidth. The 1U chassis does not support additional internal drive bays beyond the four provided.

Dual 550W Platinum PSUs And iDRAC9 Express

Two 550-watt platinum-efficiency power supplies deliver redundant power for continuous operation. Integrated iDRAC 9 Express provides remote monitoring and administration without a separate management card. Dual-port gigabit Ethernet is built into the motherboard. The front bezel and ready rails are not included in the shipment.
