The configuration targets virtualization, cloud infrastructure and data-intensive workloads that need high core density in minimal space.

Memory ceiling and storage interface limits

DDR4 capacity tops out at 1 TB, so the installed 512 GB leaves headroom for growth within the same generation. The PERC H745 controller manages eight 2.5-inch SAS drives at 12 Gb/s and supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 with 4 GB of battery-backed cache.
