The Dell PowerEdge R930 is a 4U rack server built for the most demanding enterprise applications. Four Intel Xeon E7-8891 v4 processors deliver forty cores at 2.8 GHz with 3.5 GHz turbo for heavy transactional and analytical workloads. It targets organisations running in-memory databases, virtualisation clusters or ERP systems that require maximum core count and memory capacity in a single chassis.

Enterprise storage and management foundation

Twenty-four hot-plug 2.5-inch drive bays are populated with 1.92 TB SATA SSDs behind a PERC H730P controller with 2 GB cache supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60.
