Workstation Hard-Drive Adapter
This adapter is built for the Dell Precision T7820 tower workstation and lets installers add 3.5 inch or 2.5 inch SATA and SAS drives into the four internal bays. It targets system integrators and IT teams who need to expand storage on a dual-Xeon platform without replacing the chassis.
Sustained-Load Behaviour
The adapter passes data through the workstation's native SATA and SAS backplane, so throughput stays consistent during long rendering, simulation or virtualization sessions. No thermal throttling or protocol conversion is introduced, and the 950W power supply has headroom for multiple drives running simultaneously.
Installation Notes
