The Dogfish Shark 1TB SATA SSD is a 2.5 inch internal solid state drive built for desktops and laptops. It uses 3D NAND flash and a SMI controller behind a SATA III 6Gb/s interface. The drive targets everyday computing, OS boot and bulk storage upgrades.

Sustained workload behaviour

Under continuous operation the drive delivers up to 540MB/s sequential read and 500MB/s sequential write. Built‑in ECC, bad‑block management, garbage collection and TRIM keep write performance stable over long sessions. DevSleep lowers power draw during idle periods.

SATA III interface limits
