The Getac K120 is a fully rugged Windows 10 Pro tablet built to MIL-STD-810G and IP65 standards. It survives 1.8 metre drops, vibration and extreme temperatures down to -21 °C. An Intel Core i7-8550U processor reaches 4 GHz with UHD Graphics 620. The 12.5 inch IPS LumiBond display delivers 1200 nits brightness for direct sunlight readability.

Upgrade from consumer tablets

Standard tablets lack sealed ports, drop certification and readable screens in bright light. The K120 adds Gigabit Ethernet, optional 4G LTE and dedicated GPS for reliable connectivity on site. Dual USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, HDMI and a combo audio jack replace the dongles consumer devices require. Optional smart card or RFID readers handle secure authentication without extra hardware.

8 GB memory and 512 GB storage ceiling

Soldered 8 GB DDR4 caps multitasking at moderate workloads; heavier virtual machines or large datasets will exhaust RAM. The 512 GB SSD holds the OS, field apps and local maps comfortably. UHD Graphics 620 drives the 1920 x 1080 panel and an external display via HDMI, but 3D rendering or GPU compute tasks exceed its headroom.
