The GTBOX WTR MAX is a compact barebone mini PC built around an Intel Core i5-1235U processor and designed to host up to eleven drive bays. It targets users who want a dense, self-assembled network-attached storage platform without a pre-installed operating system or drives.

Dual ten-gigabit and OCuLink expansion

The aluminium chassis integrates two 10 GbE ports based on Intel 82599 controllers alongside two 2.5 GbE Intel I226-V interfaces for high-throughput networking. Front and rear I/O includes HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, two USB 3.2 Gen 2, one USB 3.2 Gen 1, a USB4 port, an OCuLink connector and a combined audio jack. Internally five M.2 2280 slots wired for PCIe 3.0 and six 3.5-inch SATA bays provide flexible storage layouts.

280-watt external power supply

The unit ships with a 280 W external adapter that powers the CPU, all drive bays and the dual ten-gigabit controllers from a single DC jack. Passive heatsinks on the M.2 slots and active airflow across the drive cage keep thermals in check during sustained RAID rebuilds or media transcoding.
