The HP OmniBook X Flip is a convertible business laptop with a 16.0-inch 2K OLED touchscreen that supports laptop, tablet, tent and stand modes via a 360-degree hinge. It runs Windows 11 Home on an Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processor with 8 cores and Intel Graphics, backed by 16GB of LPDDR5x memory and a 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD. A 7-in-1 docking station with 1TB of additional storage is included in the set.

Upgrade from fixed-clamshell ultraportables

Buyers moving from a traditional non-convertible ultraportable gain a 360-degree hinge and OLED touchscreen for drawing, presenting and media consumption in multiple postures. The jump is worth it when daily work shifts between typing, inking and sharing the screen in meetings. Users who only need a standard clamshell form factor will not use the convertible mechanics.

Limits of the integrated graphics

Intel Graphics handles office applications, web browsing and video playback but is not suited for sustained 3D rendering, heavy video editing or modern gaming workloads. The 16GB of LPDDR5x memory is soldered and cannot be expanded after purchase. Wireless connectivity uses 802.11be and Bluetooth 6.0, while external display output relies on a single HDMI 2.1 port and two USB-C ports.
