Dual 12-core Xeon 1U server

The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 packs two Xeon E5-2670 v3 processors, each with 12 cores at 2.3 GHz, into a 1U rack chassis. That gives 24 physical cores and 48 threads for virtualization hosts, database nodes or compute clusters that need density without a full-height footprint.

96 GB DDR4 at the ceiling

The system ships with 96 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory across 24 DIMM slots, which is also the maximum capacity the installed processors can address. All slots are populated, so any further expansion would require a CPU upgrade; the B140i controller handles SATA RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 for local storage.

Redundant power and 8-bay SFF storage

Two hot-swap 500 W supplies keep the platform running through a single-unit failure. The front panel holds eight 2.5-inch SFF bays, currently empty except for two included trays, while a Matrox G200 with 16 MB video memory provides basic console output. No optical drive or operating system is included.
