Suits dense compute; not for massive memory

The platform supports up to 3 TB across 24 DIMM slots, so workloads that need more than the installed 16 GB can expand later. Buyers who need the full 3 TB from day one or who require a second processor for 24 cores should look elsewhere. The Matrox G200 graphics is for management only, not compute acceleration.

Single E5-2670 v3 twelve-core processor

One CPU is installed and the board accepts a second identical Xeon to double the core count to 24. If the target workload demands more than 12 physical cores immediately, this configuration will fall short. The socket and chipset are fixed to the E5 v3 series, so a different processor family cannot be used.
