The onboard Smart Array P440 supports SAS at 12 Gb/s and 6 Gb/s with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. The chassis provides 16 small-form-factor 2.5-inch bays; an optional universal media bay or an extra eight-bay cage can raise the total to 24. Maximum memory speed reaches 2400 MT/s but actual rate depends on the installed processor capability.
