The HPE BL460c Gen10 is a two-socket blade server fitted with two Xeon Gold 6238 processors running at 2.1 GHz and 128 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory. It targets compute-dense workloads such as virtualisation clusters, database nodes and high-performance computing tasks that demand many cores in a shared chassis.

Smart Array controller and dual 4 TB drives

An onboard Smart Array P204i-b SR Gen10 controller manages the two installed 4 TB SATA 2.5-inch hard drives, providing hardware RAID 0 or 1 without consuming a mezzanine slot. The integrated FlexFabric 20 GB 2-port 650FLB adapter and iLO Advanced remote management are also included, so storage, networking and out-of-band control are ready without extra cards.

Blade enclosure installation notes

The server slides into a supported c-Class enclosure bay and locks with the built-in lever; no rails or tools are required.
