The HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 is a 2U rack server built around a single Intel Xeon Bronze 3106 processor running at 1.7GHz with eight cores and 11MB cache. It ships with 256GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory installed and supports a maximum of 3TB across its DIMM slots. A second processor can be added later for heavier workloads.

Smart Array P408 controller and 10GbE networking

An HPE Smart Array P408 SAS controller provides hardware RAID for up to eight 2.5-inch SATA drive bays, though no drives are installed in this configuration. Dual Intel X540 10GbE ports and dual Intel I350 1GbE ports are fitted on the network card, giving high-throughput and management connectivity without extra adapters.

Redundant power and remote management

Two 500W Flex Slot power supplies deliver N+N redundancy for continuous operation in a 36 by 24 by 10 inch chassis weighing 40 units.
