Compact business desktop for office workloads

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720s is a small-form-factor desktop built around an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8700 hexa-core processor running at 3.20 GHz with turbo up to 4.60 GHz. It ships with 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 2.5-inch 1 TB SSD, plus Windows 10 Pro pre-installed. A USB keyboard and mouse are included, while a monitor is not supplied.

The black SFF case uses a 240-pin DIMM form factor for memory and houses a DVD-ROM drive for media access. Wireless connectivity comes from a USB dongle capable of 5 GHz operation, and Bluetooth is also present. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 drives display outputs, and the 65 W processor keeps power demands modest for the compact enclosure.

Low thermal output and quiet operation

With a 65 W TDP the i7-8700 generates limited heat, allowing the small chassis to run cool under typical office loads. Fan noise stays subdued during document editing, web browsing and video playback. Power draw remains modest, so the system suits environments where energy use and acoustic comfort matter.
