The Lenovo Thinkpad T14 Gen 2 is a new business laptop built around an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with four cores and a 4.2 GHz maximum turbo frequency. It ships with 8GB DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD for storage. The 14.0 inch Full HD IPS display runs at 1920x1080 resolution. Windows 10 Pro and Linux Mint 20 are pre-installed in a dual-boot configuration selectable at startup.

A 65W power supply charges the integrated 50WHr Li-Polymer battery. The chassis measures 12.9 IN by 8.9 IN by 0.70 IN and weighs 3.23lb. Processor turbo speeds up to 4.2 GHz are limited by thermal headroom inside the thin chassis. The 720p webcam supports video calls during long sessions. Buyers who need discrete GPU performance or more than 8GB memory for continuous heavy workloads should consider other options.
