Dell Precision 3260 DDR5 SODIMM upgrade

This NEMIX RAM module adds 16 GB of DDR5 memory to the Dell Precision 3260 compact workstation. It uses the standard 262-pin SODIMM form factor and operates at the platform-native 4800 MT/s speed. The single-rank 1Rx8 design keeps electrical loading low for stable operation. Installation follows the usual laptop SODIMM procedure.

16 GB single-module capacity and headroom

The 16 GB stick doubles the typical factory 8 GB configuration and fits within the two-slot limit of the Precision 3260. Everyday workloads such as office suites, browser tabs and light development run comfortably. Large datasets, virtual machines or heavy rendering will exhaust the single-module capacity and require a second SODIMM to reach 32 GB total.

1.1 V operation with no heat spreader

Running at the standard DDR5 voltage of 1.10 V keeps power draw minimal inside the compact chassis. The module has no integrated heat spreader, relying on the workstation’s internal airflow for cooling. Under normal workloads the memory remains silent and adds negligible thermal load to the system.
