Cisco B200 M2 server upgrade

This kit provides 128GB of DDR3L ECC registered memory in eight 16GB modules built for the Cisco UCS B200 M2 blade server. It is designed for administrators who need to maximise the memory capacity of that specific platform. The modules will not work in standard desktop PCs or in systems that require unbuffered or load-reduced DIMMs. Buyers who need memory for a different server model or a consumer motherboard cannot use this product.

Low-voltage registered operation

Each module runs at 1.35V and 1333MHz with CL9 timings, matching the PC3L-10600 JEDEC standard for reduced power draw in dense blade environments. Registered buffering adds a clock cycle of latency but improves signal integrity when all DIMM slots are populated. The kit has no heat spreaders, relying on the chassis airflow of the B200 M2 for cooling under normal workloads.

Direct Cisco part replacement

The kit replaces Cisco part numbers A02M316GB1L, UCSMR1X162RXA, UCSMR2X162RX and UCSMR2x162RXC, simplifying procurement for existing fleets.
