64 GB ECC Registered Kit

This 64 GB kit contains two 32 GB DDR4 2666 ECC Registered RDIMM modules designed for servers, workstations and compatible NAS systems. It operates at 1.2 V with CL19 latency and uses a 288-pin form factor. The dual-channel kit is built to JEDEC and RoHS standards for warranty-safe upgrades.

Replaces slower DDR4 modules

The kit replaces existing DDR4 2133 or 2400 memory and runs at the higher 2666 speed when the platform supports it. The jump is worth it when the system can utilise the faster data rate for heavier workloads. It will not work in standard desktop computers and cannot be mixed with unbuffered or load-reduced ECC memory.

DDR4 2666 interface limits

The DDR4 2666 interface caps transfer rates at PC4-21300 bandwidth. Backward compatibility allows operation at 2133 and 2400 speeds if the platform requires it. Registered buffering adds a clock cycle of latency but enables the larger capacities needed in multi-socket servers. The 2Rx4 organisation supports dense configurations within the platform's maximum memory limit.
