The 250GB capacity suits everyday computing in laptops and desktops that accept a 2.5 inch SATA drive. It operates from 0°C to 70°C with active power draw of 3.5W.
SATA III interface
The drive connects through a SATA III interface compatible with SATA 3Gb/s and SATA 1.5Gb/s ports. This single specification decides whether the SSD fits your system; it will not work in M.2 or PCIe slots. Maximum random read reaches 97,000 IOPS at QD32 while random write reaches 88,000 IOPS at QD32.
Samsung Data Migration and Magician software
Free downloadable utilities simplify cloning an existing drive and provide ongoing health monitoring, firmware updates and performance optimisation.
