The SSK SHE-C325 PRO is a USB 3.2 Gen 2 adapter that lets you connect an M.2 NVME or SATA SSD to any computer with a Type-C or Type-A port. It accepts M-Key and B+M-Key drives in 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths and runs at up to 10Gbps when the host supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 3. The RTL9210B controller adds UASP and Trim support for sustained throughput.

Who it suits and who it does not

Builders who want tool-free access to bare M.2 drives on laptops, desktops or tablets will find the aluminium shell and included thermal pads practical. It is not for anyone needing to read M.2 PCIe AHCI SSDs, mSATA modules, Wi-Fi cards, capture cards or any non-M.2 form factor. Buyers who require an external power supply for heavier workloads should look elsewhere because this unit is bus-powered only.
