1U barebone for dense storage workloads

The Supermicro SYS-110P-WTR is a 1U rackmount server barebone built around the LGA 4189 socket for Intel Xeon processors. It targets virtualization, cloud computing and database deployments that need high drive density in a single rack unit. No CPU or memory is installed, so integrators choose the exact configuration the workload demands. The ASPEED AST2600 BMC provides out-of-band management.

Ten hot-swap bays with four NVMe hybrids

Ten 2.5-inch hot-swap bays connect to the onboard SATA 600 controller, and four of those bays accept NVMe drives for faster tiered storage. The board supports RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 across the SATA ports, giving redundancy without a separate HBA. Maximum memory reaches 2 TB with eight 256 GB DRAM modules, or 3 TB when mixing four 256 GB DRAM and four 512 GB persistent memory modules. ECC is supported on all slots.

PCIe 4.0 x16 slots and M.2 expansion

Two full-height full-length PCIe 4.0 x16 slots and one low-profile PCIe 4.0 x16 slot handle GPUs, NICs or storage adapters. A single M-key M.2 socket wired for PCIe 3.0 x4 and SATA accepts 2280 or 22110 modules. The rear panel supplies two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, a dedicated IPMI LAN port and two 1 GbE RJ45 ports. Builders needing more than three x16 slots or 10 GbE onboard must add cards.
