1U rack server for small business workloads

The Supermicro SYS-5019S-W4TR is a 1U rackmount server fitted with an Intel Xeon E3-1270 v6 running at 3.8GHz with a 4.2GHz turbo frequency. It includes 32GB of DDR4 ECC memory across four DIMM slots and provides four hot-swap 3.5-inch drive bays. This configuration targets file storage, virtualization and web hosting in space-constrained racks.

Slide rails and front bezel must be sourced

Installation uses standard 1U rack depth but the unit ships without rack mount rails or a front bezel, so these must be ordered before deployment. The four drive trays are included but no hard drives are installed, requiring the buyer to populate bays with compatible SATA or SAS drives. Dual 500W 80 Plus Platinum power supplies are hot-swappable for redundancy during maintenance.

Four 10GBase-T ports via Intel X540 controller

Network connectivity is delivered through four RJ45 10GBase-T ports driven by an Intel X540 controller, providing high-throughput wired links without additional cards. Storage is managed by an LSI MegaRAID 9361-8i controller supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 with 1GB cache and battery backup. IPMI 2.0 with dedicated LAN enables remote KVM and virtual media access.
