The Velztorm Pilum arrives assembled and tested with a 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen 7 3700X eight-core processor, 64GB DDR4 memory, a 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD paired with a 6TB hard drive, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super graphics card. It ships with Windows 10 Pro installed and a 750W power supply.

Simple peripheral setup, limited wireless

Connecting a monitor, keyboard and mouse is straightforward through the HDMI, DisplayPort and multiple USB 3.0 ports, but the system only includes 802.11n Wi-Fi and no Bluetooth, so faster wireless standards and wireless peripherals are not supported out of the box.

GTX 1660 Super caps modern titles at 1080p

The 6GB GDDR6 card handles current games at 1080p with DirectX 12 and G-SYNC, yet its VRAM and architecture limit higher resolutions and newer rendering features. The 750W supply and AIO cooler give headroom for the existing parts but leave little margin for a substantially larger GPU.
