The VideoSecu DM52SE-N1 is a wired dome camera built around a 1/3 inch Sony Effio CCD sensor. It delivers 600 TV lines of horizontal resolution through a 3.6 mm wide-angle lens. The unit mounts on walls or ceilings using a 3-axis bracket and includes a security warning sticker.

BNC video and 12 V DC power only

The camera connects via a BNC video plug and a 2.1 mm centre-positive power connector. It requires a separate 12 V DC supply rated for at least 500 mA. There is no network interface, Wi-Fi or HD-SDI support; it only works with traditional analog DVRs that accept NTSC composite signals.

600 TVL resolution and low-light sensitivity

At 600 TV lines the picture is adequate for general overview monitoring on older recorders. Minimum illumination of 0.002 Lux allows usable images in dim conditions. The fixed 3.6 mm lens cannot zoom or varifocal, so detail drops off beyond moderate distances. It will not integrate with HD, IP or modern hybrid recorders.
