Versatile 2.5 GbE connectivity
The Vszerda network card adds a single 2.5 gigabit Ethernet port through a PCI Express x1 slot. It uses the Intel I225 chipset to deliver reliable wired throughput for desktops and servers that lack multi-gigabit onboard networking. The half-height bracket fits low-profile chassis without modification.
POE+ upgrade for powered devices
This card supplies up to 30 watts of POE+ power to attached equipment such as IP cameras or wireless access points. The extra 12 volt feed is drawn from an internal SATA power connector, so the feature works only when that cable is connected. Systems already running at 1 GbE gain both speed and device power in one step.
Simple integration into existing builds
Installation requires a free PCI Express x1 lane and a spare SATA power lead from the power supply. The low-profile bracket is included, leaving full-height brackets unused. No auxiliary software licences are needed; the Intel driver handles VLAN tagging, jumbo frames and Energy Efficient Ethernet automatically.

Jautājumi par šo preci
What slot and extra power connector does the 2.5 GbE card need?
The card fits a PCI-e x1 slot and draws 12 V power from a SATA connector to supply POE+ up to 30 W.
Which bracket should I use when installing the Intel i225 card in a low-profile chassis?
Fit the included low-profile bracket before seating the card; the common mistake is leaving the full-height bracket on and finding the case will not close.
How do I know when the POE+ budget of 30 W is being exceeded by connected devices?
The Intel i225 controller does not report per-port power draw, so add the rated wattage of every PoE device and keep the total under 30 W.
