HPE Instant On AP25 Access Point
The HPE Instant On AP25 is a Wi-Fi 6 access point built for small businesses that need reliable dual-band coverage. It delivers 4x4 spatial streams and supports both employee and guest networks with WPA2 or WPA3 security. Management is handled through the Aruba Instant On mobile app or cloud portal for onsite or remote configuration. This model ships without a power source included.
2.5G uplink and 160 MHz channels
The unit connects to the wired network through a 2.5G Ethernet uplink and uses 160 MHz channel bandwidth in the 5 GHz band. Peak data rates reach 4.8 Gbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz for an aggregate 5.3 Gbps. Wi-Fi 6 features such as OFDMA, MU-MIMO and Target Wake Time improve airtime efficiency and help extend client battery life. The access point is fully backward compatible with legacy 802.11a/b/g/n/ac devices.
App and cloud management included
The bundled Aruba Instant On mobile app and cloud web portal provide setup, monitoring and firmware updates without a separate hardware controller. WPA2/WPA3 protected logins and Enhanced Open give per-user guest access directly from the management interface. No additional software licences or on-premises appliances are required to operate the AP25.
