This motherboard and CPU combo pairs the ASUS PRIME B850-PLUS board with the AMD Ryzen 7 9700X processor. The board uses the AM5 socket and supports Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 series CPUs. The included 8-core, 16-thread CPU runs on Zen 5 architecture with a max boost clock of 5.5 GHz and 40 MB cache.
