PCIe 4.0 and 3.0 Limits on One Board
The primary x16 slot runs at PCIe 4.0 x16 when a 3rd Gen Ryzen CPU is installed. A second x16 slot operates at PCIe 3.0 x4 from the chipset. One PCIe 3.0 x1 slot is also available. Two M.2 slots provide storage expansion; the first supports PCIe 4.0 x4, the second PCIe 3.0 x4. Both also accept SATA M.2 drives.
128 GB DDR4 Maximum Memory Capacity
The board supports 128 GB across four slots with speeds up to 4600 MHz overclocked on 3rd Gen Ryzen and 4800 MHz overclocked on next-gen Ryzen PRO. Native JEDEC speeds reach 3200 MHz. This ceiling determines whether the platform fits high-capacity workloads or heavy multitasking.
