It ships with 512 GB of DDR4 registered ECC memory across sixteen 32 GB modules. The system targets midsize and large enterprises running virtualisation, databases or high-performance computing workloads.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Turbo frequency reaches 3.2 GHz when thermal headroom allows, while the dual 750 W platinum power supplies provide redundant hot-swap power for continuous operation. The PERC H730 controller includes a 1 GB cache with battery backup to preserve write performance during extended heavy I/O. Twenty-four DIMM slots support expansion up to 1.5 TB for growing memory pressure.

SAS Storage Limits

Eight 2.5-inch drive bays accept 12 Gb/s SAS or SATA drives, with two 300 GB 10K SAS disks installed. The H730 supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through mode.
