Intel DC P4510 series SSD delivers 1TB capacity in a 2.5 U.2 form factor with PCI Express 3.1 x4 interface. It uses 3D NAND TLC memory and provides sequential reads up to 2850 MB/s and writes up to 1100 MB/s. Random 4KB performance reaches 465000 IOPS read and 70000 IOPS write.

Fit and Limits

This drive suits read-intensive server workloads such as caching, content delivery and virtualised boot volumes where high random-read IOPS matter. It is not for write-heavy database logging or sustained sequential write workloads that exceed the 1100 MB/s write ceiling. Buyers needing higher endurance or larger capacities should evaluate other enterprise SSDs.

Deciding Specification
