Universal Drive Adapter

The Jansicotek SA28 connects any standard 2.5in or 3.5in SATA or IDE hard drive or solid-state drive to a computer through an available USB 3.0 port. It also supports optical drives such as DVD-ROM, CD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD-RW and DVD+RW. The adapter works with Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome OS without requiring any driver installation. A 12V 2A power adapter and a 4-pin power cable are included to supply 5V or 12V power to larger drives.

Replaces Internal Bays

This adapter removes the need to install drives inside a chassis or use a dedicated dock when you only need occasional access to legacy storage. The jump is worth it when you are recovering data from older 40-pin or 44-pin IDE disks, cloning a laptop drive to a desktop drive, or backing up archives stored on optical media. It is not for builders who need a permanent internal connection or users who require hardware RAID functionality.

Capacity and Headroom
