The Lexar SL400 is a 1 TB external solid-state drive that connects directly through a USB-C connector. It delivers sequential reads up to 1050 MB/s and writes up to 1000 MB/s over USB 3.2 Gen 2. The drive weighs 13 grams and measures 1.71 by 0.98 by 0.32 inches. An IP65 rating and 3.3 ft drop protection guard the drive against dust, water splashes and everyday knocks. If your host only offers USB 3.2 Gen 1 or USB 2.0 ports, speeds will fall to the host’s limit. The supplied adapter adds USB-A physical compatibility but does not raise the protocol ceiling.
