Development board for Compute Module 4
This carrier board hosts a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 Lite or eMMC variant in a standard socket. It is aimed at engineers evaluating the module or integrating it into finished products. The compact layout exposes a 40-pin GPIO header with colour-coded pins for quick reference.
Build and everyday connectivity
The board fits a credit-card footprint while providing CSI, DSI, RTC, fan header, HDMI, USB, Gigabit Ethernet, microSD slot and an M.2 slot. A USB-HDMI adapter connects via FFC to add extra USB and HDMI ports for peripheral expansion. Mounting holes allow secure installation inside enclosures.
Thermals, noise and power
Passive cooling is provided by the onboard fan header; no active cooler is included so acoustic output depends on the fan chosen. Power is drawn through the Compute Module 4 socket and the adapter, with consumption determined by the fitted module and attached peripherals. The Gigabit Ethernet and M.2 interfaces operate within the module's standard power envelope.
