Socket & Chipset

The MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Plus is an ATX motherboard built around the Intel Z390 chipset and the LGA 1151 (300 Series) socket. It accepts 8th and 9th Generation Intel Core, Pentium Gold and Celeron processors but is not compatible with earlier LGA 1151 CPUs.
