The Dell PowerEdge R740 fits a 2U form factor and provides eight 3.5-inch drive bays for high-capacity storage. Dual Xeon Silver 4215R processors run at 3.2 GHz with 11 MB cache each. A PERC H730P RAID controller and iDRAC9 Enterprise remote management are installed. 16 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory is fitted.
