Standalone 1-to-7 duplicator

The M1007-SSP is a standalone multimedia duplicator designed for users who need to copy data between flash memory cards, USB drives and optical discs without a computer. It targets environments such as offices, schools or media labs where quick, direct duplication of CDs, DVDs and various flash formats is required on a daily basis. The unit operates independently once powered from a 115-230 V AC supply at 50/60 Hz.

Sustained copy operation

With 128M of buffer memory, the duplicator manages continuous data streams during disc-to-disc runs of up to seven targets or flash-to-disc jobs of up to eight targets. The slot-load mechanism feeds media sequentially, so throughput is limited by the speed of the slowest source or blank in the batch rather than by burst transfer rates. Standalone operation means no host software overhead, keeping copy speed consistent across long sessions.

Media and format limits

Copy jobs require the source and all targets to share the same disc format and capacity to avoid space errors. The duplicator reads from Memory Stick, CompactFlash, Secure Digital and USB flash sources, then writes to CD-R, DVD-R or DVD+R blanks, but it cannot write to flash media from a disc source. Multi-session recording allows several flash cards to be combined onto one optical disc, yet the hardware does not support Blu-ray media or flash-to-flash verification beyond the built-in copy modes.
