Dual Xeon Silver 4108 compute node

The HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 delivers two Intel Xeon Silver 4108 processors running at 1.8 GHz with eight cores each and 11 MB cache per chip. A total of 256 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory is installed across the system board. This configuration targets virtualisation hosts, database clusters and enterprise workloads that demand high core counts and large memory capacity in a 2U rack form factor.

Smart Array P408 with eight 2.5-inch bays

The onboard HPE Smart Array P408 SAS controller manages up to eight 2.5-inch drive bays supporting SATA media. Two 500 W Flex Slot power supplies provide redundant power for the chassis. Network connectivity includes two 10 GbE ports and two 1 GbE ports via Intel I350 and X540 adapters. Remote management is handled by HPE iLO Advanced for out-of-band control and monitoring.

Redundant power and updated firmware

Dual 500 W supplies share the load to keep thermals stable under typical enterprise workloads. Fans adjust speed based on inlet temperature and component utilisation to balance airflow and acoustic output. All BIOS and firmware revisions are updated to the latest stable release before shipment and a full burn-in test verifies thermal behaviour under sustained load.
