The Toshiba N300 HDWG440XZSTA is a 3.5-inch internal hard drive built for 24/7 network attached storage. It delivers 4 TB of capacity over a SATA 6.0 Gb/s interface, spins at 7200 RPM and includes a 256 MB cache to sustain multi-bay RAID workloads.

Suited for multi-bay NAS enclosures

This drive supports up to eight drive bays in a multi-RAID NAS design and is rated for 180 TB of writes per year with a 1,200,000 hour MTTF. It is not intended for single-drive desktop boot duties or for portable external use where vibration and power profiles differ.

SATA 6.0 Gb/s interface decides compatibility

The drive connects via a standard SATA 6.0 Gb/s port and requires a 3.5-inch bay with 26.1 mm height clearance. Systems limited to SATA 3.0 Gb/s or smaller form-factor bays will not be able to use this unit.
