Internal USB 2.0 Hub with Seven Ports
The Aquacomputer HUBBY7 adds seven internal USB 2.0 ports for connecting Aquacomputer sensors and controllers. It draws power from either a motherboard USB header or a SATA power connector. The hub is intended for builders who need more internal USB headers than the board provides.
500 mA USB Power or 1000 mA SATA Power
When powered from the motherboard USB header the hub shares a 500 mA budget across all seven ports and can keep devices active during standby. Switching to SATA power raises the total budget to 1000 mA split into two 500 mA groups but removes standby power. Builders who need more current than 1000 mA total cannot use this hub.
Overcurrent Monitoring and Thermal Fuse
The hub monitors current on every port and shuts down automatically if an overcurrent event occurs, reporting the error to the operating system. A thermal monitor and safety fuse add a second layer of protection for the motherboard and attached devices. No external mounting brackets or additional cooling hardware are included.
