The Dell PowerEdge R730xd fits twelve 3.5-inch drives in a 2U rack chassis. One Xeon E5-2683 v4 processor runs at 2.1 GHz with sixteen cores and 40 MB cache. 192 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory is installed. A PERC H730 SAS controller manages storage.
