This kit provides six powered riser cards that connect a graphics card to a motherboard PCIe 1x, 4x, 8x or 16x slot. Each board measures 12.8cm by 4.2cm by 1.0cm and carries four 270uF solid capacitors with voltage regulation and overcurrent protection. A 60cm USB 3.0 cable links each pair for flexible placement. A SATA to 6-pin power adapter is included for every riser to draw power directly from the supply.
These risers suit builders assembling Ethereum mining rigs or other installations that need several graphics cards spaced away from the motherboard. The four mounting holes on each 16x connector allow secure fixing to a frame or chassis. Systems that require the full bandwidth of a native PCIe 16x link or that cannot accommodate the 60cm cable length should consider alternative solutions.
The 60cm USB 3.0 cable determines how far each graphics card can sit from its motherboard slot and is the key measurement for planning frame layout and airflow. If the build demands a longer or shorter reach, this kit will not fit the mechanical constraints.
