This 2.5-inch internal solid-state drive uses 3D NAND flash and a SATA III interface to deliver sequential reads up to 560 MBps and writes up to 530 MBps. It is built as a direct replacement for mechanical hard drives in laptops, desktops and ultrabooks. The 7 mm z-height fits standard drive bays and most thin-and-light chassis.

Sustained random 4 KB performance

Random 4 KB read and write IOPS are each rated at 95000 and 90000 respectively, and the same figures are quoted for sustained operation. These numbers determine whether the drive can keep small-file workloads responsive during OS boot, application launch and game asset streaming.
