The KingSpec NXM-1TB is a 1 TB internal solid state drive built for consumer desktops, laptops and ultrabooks. Its M.2 2242 form factor fits space-constrained boards while the PCIe 3.0 x4 interface delivers up to 3500 MBps sequential read and 3000 MBps sequential write. The 3D NAND flash and LDPC error correction provide 1000 TBW endurance for heavy workloads.

An integrated heatsink spreads heat across the 3.5 mm profile, keeping the controller within the 0°C to 70°C operating window without any moving parts. Idle power sits at 0.61 W and active consumption peaks at 3.6 W, so the drive adds minimal load to a laptop battery or desktop PSU. Silent operation is guaranteed because there are no fans or pumps involved.
Build integration
The single-sided 42.0 mm by 22.0 mm PCB slides into any M-key M.2 slot wired for PCIe 3.0 x4 and runs on 3.3 V power. No extra cables, brackets or airflow channels are required, freeing up 2.5-inch bays and SATA ports for additional storage.
