LORDWORLD 27W USB-C PD Power Supply 5.1V 5A GaN Black

SKU CH-FA5B-2V1H6

A 27 W USB-C PD supply delivering 5.1 V at 5 A for Raspberry Pi 5, with GaN efficiency and full protection

  • GaN tech keeps the Pi 5 running without hangs
  • 27 W output at 5.1 V 5 A meets peak demand
  • PD 3.0 compliance enables 9 V, 12 V, 15 V profiles
  • 120 mm 18 AWG cable reaches the board easily
  • Over-voltage, over-current and short-circuit protection built in

Raspberry Pi 5 USB-C PD supply

This 27W GaN power supply delivers the 5.1V 5A output that Raspberry Pi 5 boards require for stable operation. It accepts 100 to 240V AC at 50 or 60Hz with a maximum draw of 0.8A. The unit includes a 120mm 18AWG USB-C cable and is finished in black.

PD voltage steps and cable limit

The charger negotiates 5.1V at 5A, 9V at 3A, 12V at 2.25A and 15V at 1.8A over USB Power Delivery. The fixed 120mm cable restricts placement to very close to the socket or board, so builders needing longer runs must add a separate USB-C extension.

Replaces the official 27W white supply

Owners of the original Raspberry Pi 5 27W USB-C adapter gain a more compact GaN design and a black finish that hides dust better. The upgrade is worthwhile when the shorter cable length is acceptable and a smaller wall footprint is preferred.

Küsimused selle toote kohta

Which voltage setting should I pick for a Raspberry Pi 5?

Use the 5.1V 5A profile; it delivers the 27W the board expects.

What does the 27W rating mean when the Pi 5 is under load?

It means the supply can sustain 5.1V at 5A continuously, so the Pi 5 gets full performance without throttling.

How does the USB-C PD handshake limit the output?

The charger negotiates 5.1V/5A, 9V/3A, 12V/2.25A or 15V/1.8A; the Pi 5 selects the 5.1V 5A contract.
