Passive cooling spreads heat across the entire aluminium housing, so the 6th-generation Core i5 maintains its 2.0 GHz base clock without throttling during long shifts. Intel Iris Graphics 540 drives the 1280 × 1024 panel and an external display over HDMI or VGA without adding thermal load. The watchdog timer can restart the system automatically after a power loss.
