This 768GB kit contains twelve 64GB DDR4 LRDIMM modules built for Dell PowerEdge 13th generation rack servers including the R430, R530, R630, R730, R730xd, R830 and R930 families. It targets administrators who need maximum registered ECC capacity in those specific platforms. The modules use a 288-pin form factor with a 4Rx4 quad-rank layout and will not work in desktop or laptop systems that require non-ECC unbuffered memory. Mixing with standard registered DIMMs is not supported.
Each module runs at 1.20V without a heat spreader, relying on the server's directed airflow for cooling. Load-reduced buffering reduces electrical load on the memory bus, helping keep power draw predictable during normal operation. The CL15 latency at 2133MHz delivers standard timing for this voltage class. No additional cooling hardware is included or required beyond the chassis design.
Under continuous workloads the quad-rank organisation allows the memory controller to interleave across ranks, maintaining throughput when all twelve slots are populated. Speeds are locked to the slowest installed module, so the kit will run at 2133MHz even if faster modules are present elsewhere.
