This Dell OptiPlex 3060 Micro combines the computer and a 24" 1920 x 1080 monitor in a single compact unit. It ships with Windows 11 Pro, a USB keyboard and a USB mouse so it is ready for office tasks immediately. The Intel Core i5-8500T six-core processor runs at 2.1 GHz with a 3.50 GHz maximum turbo frequency. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 drives the included display and a second screen via DisplayPort or HDMI.

Simple Setup with Micro Form Factor

The Micro chassis uses thumbscrews for tool-less access to the two SoDIMM 204-pin DDR4 slots and the 2.5" drive bay. Memory can be expanded up to 32 GB using DDR4 modules only. The operating system resides on the 128 GB M.2 SSD while a 1 TB 2.5" SSD provides additional storage. A Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dongle handles wireless connectivity; the Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 port is also available for wired networks.

Connectivity and Expansion Limits

Video output is restricted to one DisplayPort and one HDMI port, supporting a maximum of two external displays. The system provides four USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports and two USB 2.0 ports, one of which supports Smart Power On. No internal PCIe slots are present in the Micro form factor, so add-in cards such as discrete graphics or extra network adapters cannot be installed.
