The chassis offers 24 front-accessible 2.5-inch bays for SAS or SATA drives, far exceeding the two 300 GB 10K SAS drives installed from the factory. A PERC H730P controller with 2 GB cache manages RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60, so the platform can scale from a modest mirrored pair to a dense all-flash array without changing hardware.
